Now, Pocky is actually one of my most favorite snacks to consume...just not everyday, everynight, 24/7! I have tried the most popular flavors, like chocolate and (regular) strawberry dipped ones but these have caught my attention. First, I'll talk about the outside to the inside. I love the way the box was designed. You have a small place to open and close the box. Yeah, I know this isn't so original but I don't see a lot of boxes like these, plus these are different from other Pocky boxes I've seen. I like ripe and unripe strawberries on the box with 2 sticks ands the words written in red.
The plastic wrap on the inside? Cute. You can see right through the plastic so you know exactly what your getting.
Let's open the wrap now. On the inside of the 4 pack boxes, are 4 packs. There are 4 sticks per pack. The color looks nice, and so does the look of it.
I opened the wrap and it hit me with a strawberry smell. I read somewhere that it contains actual strawberry flesh. Well, on the ingrediant list there is dried strawberries listed.
If you were to bite off the coating (which is something I always do) and chew the coating, you can probably feel a sugar-crystal-like texture with a cream coating over it but it's probably the the dried strawberries. I don't quite mind it at all.
Anywho, I would give this Pocky snack a 4 out of 5. I was going to give it a 3 out of 5, but then realized how much I loved it.
